Apply to Graduate in CaneLink

  • Fall 2024 eligible candidates must apply for graduation in CaneLink. The application deadline is Friday, October 11, 2024.

Order Your Cap and Gown

  • The cap and gown ordering deadline is Friday, October 11, 2024. Students are only responsible for the shipping fee. Click here for a step by step guide on how to order cap and gown.

    • IMPORTANT: Those students who miss the deadline to order cap and gown will have to wait till the day of the commencement ceremony and pay a $20 handling fee. 
      • Any cap and gown item lost or damaged (gown, cap, tam, tassel, and hood) student will have to pay the day of commencement at the a-la-carte price for those items. 
      • The price for each item can be found here. 

Tickets

All ceremonies will be held at the Watsco Center on the Coral Gables campus. This year, we will be incorporating a ticketing system for guest attendance at the ceremonies.

  • Tickets, free of charge, are required for all guests attending commencement ceremonies and will be available for students upon registration for commencement.
  • Students may request a maximum of six (6) guest tickets.
    • Tickets may only be requested by students.
    • Graduating students participating in commencement, do not need a ticket, but must present their CaneID to attend the ceremony.
  • Students may donate any tickets they will not be using at check-out.
    • Following the last day to apply for graduation, these tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, with each registered student having the opportunity to request up to two additional tickets.
    • Reservation information for these additional tickets will be emailed to all students who have registered to participate in commencement. 
  • Mobile tickets will be emailed to you closer to the date of your ceremony.
