Spring 2025 Checklist
Apply to Graduate in CaneLink
- Spring 2025 eligible candidates must apply for graduation in CaneLink. The application deadline is Wednesday, March 5, 2025.
Order Your Cap and Gown
- The cap and gown ordering deadline is Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Students are only responsible for the shipping fee. Click here for a step by step guide on how to order cap and gown.
- IMPORTANT: Those students who miss the deadline to order cap and gown will have to wait till the day of the commencement ceremony and pay a $20 handling fee.
- Any cap and gown item lost or damaged (gown, cap, tam, tassel, and hood) student will have to pay the day of commencement at the a-la-carte price for those items.

Tickets
All ceremonies will be held at the Watsco Center on the Coral Gables campus. Tickets, free of charge, are required for all guests attending the graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremonies and will be available for students upon registration for commencement.
- Students may request a maximum of six (6) guest tickets.
- Tickets may only be requested by graduating students who are participating in the commencement ceremony.
- Graduating students participating in commencement, do not need a ticket but must present their Cane Card at the graduate check-in area to attend the ceremony.
- Mobile tickets will be available in their Miami Hurricanes student ticket account on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
